Digital Marketing

Is there more to a website than to validate and confirm your current goals? Yes, websites can be a powerful advertising tool. If you are willing to put time, cost, and/or effort, a website can be very effective way for you to reach out to more people. But before you start in the digital marketing world, you will need to know about technical terms like SEO, Ad-words, Tags, Blogs, Website Developer, Website Designer, & etc.

Websites

Social Media

Social media refers to sites that are used for social functions. Examples include Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and etc. Businesses use social media to reach out to potential clients and to keep current clients updated on activities and events.

Blogs

A blog is the truncation of the words 'web log'. A blog is usually diary of activities, events, or simply discussions. Businesses will usually create a blog for online brand advertising. A typical blog combines text, images, videos, and links to web sites and social media.

SEO SERVICES

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. Is your site SEO compliant? What does that mean? According to Google SEO Starter Guide, it has do with high-quality content, how fast your site loads, keywords, links to your site, meta tags, multimedia (photos, videos, etc.), knowing specific markets and geographical areas, etc.

Yikes! that is a lot. What does it all mean? I will try to break it down. Your websites will become more prominent on Google search engine for free when you have more words and pictures, and when you are getting people to link to your site, and you use specific words that people search on in your market area.

So should you worry about SEO? My Opinion: Yes and no. You should have your websites built with SEO in mind, but the maintenance to get traffic to your site maybe more work than it is worth to you. To get the most out of SEO, you need to be actively on social media/internet promoting your websites and constantly adding more content to your site to increase the chance of getting your websites to the top of the Google search engine. For a small business, like a sole propriety and a single member LLC, it may not be worth the time and effort. It depends on where you think your money and time should be allocated towards.

Even if you decide it is not worth the effort, it would not hurt to ask people to link to your site and/or to rate/comment on your site.
